AnDevCon Announces Google and Gradle Keynotes; Intel and Qualcomm (which are launching tools at the show) to also keynote.

BZ Media LLC announced today four industry-leading keynotes at AnDevCon: The Android Developer Conference in Santa Clara, Dec. 1-3, including one from Google and one from Gradle Founder and Project Lead Hans Dockter.


Romain Guy, senior staff software engineer at Google; Chet Haase, lead of the Android UI Toolkit team at Google; and Reto Meier, leader the Scalable Developer Advocacy team at Google, will keynote on Wednesday, Dec. 2, at 9:30 am. Dockter will keynote on Tuesday, Dec. 1, at 1:00 pm.


Jeff McVeigh, general manager within Intel’s Developer Products Division, will also keynote on "How Software Creates the Sizzle on Mobile Silicon" on Dec. 2 at 4:45 pm. McVeigh will discuss how Intel’s software initiatives and tools improve the underlying capabilities of Android and allow developers to easily create “sizzling” experiences that stand out in the crowded app marketplace.


Additionally, Mike Roberts, senior director of Global Product Marketing for Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., will keynote on Thursday, Dec. 3, at 10:00 am on "The Developer Journey Into the Internet of Things." This keynote will highlight key features developers should look for when selecting an IoT platform. Roberts will also share the full range of Qualcomm’s IoT tools and technology that support Android developers from innovation to commercialization of smart products. These tools include items that are being launched for the first time at AnDevCon.


In addition to the keynotes, AnDevCon features a hackathon, over 60 tutorials and classes, as well as Women in Android Luncheon, led by Zassmin Montes de Oca, chief maker and board vice chair of Women Who Code.
